MUSICPRESENT.COM, directed by Ms. Edel Sullivan, is based in Cork City. Ireland's second largest city, it has a long and rich musical tradition in many styles of music from traditional Irish music, singer-songwriters, blues and country music, right through to classical music.

It hosts two Music Degree Courses, a variety of jazz and rock music trainings, and International Choral, Chamber Music, Jazz, and Folk Music Festivals. In addition to the large amount of world-class musicians who use Cork as their home base, Cork is regularly visited by top performers at its large range of live music venues such as The Lobby Bar.

A native of Cork, Edel Sullivan began her musical training at the age of six, learning violin under the Suzuki Method. Consolidating her classical style by completing the Cork School of Music Performance and Teaching Diploma and the Trinity of College of Music Performance Diploma, she began to explore the use of the violin in other contexts.

She is now much in demand as a session fiddler with traditional Irish bands, singer-songwriters, rock and folk bands and more! She has toured throughout North America, Canada and Europe with a variety of artists. Recent engagements include appearing as Celtic fiddler with Michael Flately's "Lord of the Dance".

Edel has also attained a first class honours degree in Music from Anglia University, Cambridge, England, which included the study of Orchestration/Arrangement and Ethnomusicology. This was followed by the study of Music Therapy (Dip. M.T. from the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Centre, London) and Community Music (at Community Music Limited, London). She is also a competent pianist.
